TELEGRAPH ROAD were a promising band that broke up way too early.

year of release: 2011

pressing info:
25 Tapes altogether (sold out)

From the ashes of BLACK FRIDAY '29, SIRENS and SETTLE THE SCORE with the addition of an ex-AYS member comes GET IT DONE! delivering their very own version of melodic old-school hardcore not unlike H2O or CIV. Big time thanks go out to Get It Done! for letting us do this, Joe Nice of KTH fame for the blank tapes and Busy B for the tools.

SBR 003 - GRIM S/T 12"

Remember the 90's? The GRIM one-sided 12" delivers 6 tunes of intense and passionate hardcore along the lines of Uranus, Acme, His Hero Is Gone! And... as hard as it is... they could actually hold a candle to their influences. The songs they wrote after the record was out were even better than this release but unfortunately they called it a day before people got to know them so we're stuck with quite a few of their records. Which really is a bummer because it is a killer record. So go on over to the Distro section and pick one up for cheap or if you have an idea on how to craft them into something people might be more into buying than a record from a band they don't know and that doesn't exist anymore... grab a bunch of 'em. In a bulk they are even cheaper.

Year of release: 2008

Review:
three chords magazine (issue 10)
(herder)

SBR 002.5 - TERRORIZE KIDS - WAR AGAINST WAR MCD

We helped finance this CD of a then promising young Band. They did everything themselves we just chipped in on the costs which is why we don't have any pressing info besides that there was only one pressing. How many? Well i'd like to know that too. Later they did put out a 7“ on the awesome SEARCH FOR FAME RECORDS. But then disbanded and haven't been heard from again. This early 80s Boston style rager still rips though so pick one up in the Distro section.

Date of release: Winter '07/'08

Reviews:

"This is Dinslaken not LA, so schallt es in meinem Kopf. Because of the general misinterpretation of Hardcore we all decided to play rough Oldschool Hardcorepunk in the vein of Boston and Washington D.C. bands like Jerry's Kids, Gang Green and Minor Threat. Genau und so hört es sich auch an, runter geschredderter Hardcore as it meant to be mit leichten ANNIHILATION TIME Anleihen. Up the kids!!"

SBR 002 - CHEAP THRILLS s/t 12"

This 12" contains CHEAP THRILLS' amazing s/t MCD on Side A and their awesome "we're all broken" Debut-MCD on Side B! They supported this release with a heavy touring schedule w/ BORROWED TIME among others and recorded a final 7“ before they disbanded due to time constraints of some of the members.

Their singer went on to a short stint with the dutch band WORLD GONE MAD to then form LOOK MY WAY which I strongly suggest you check out. If you're not already into them that is. If you are pick this one up. You will like it.
NYHC in full effect!

And the MOD is currently working on a new band HANGIN' TOUGH with our very own Jaybeez and Joe Nice of KTH fame while still being busy with his main band THE ICE. Keep your eyes open for HANGIN' TOUGH. Straight Edge in your face motherfucker!

About 40 of those do have some more or less visible black streaking. Due to the fact that these are some kind of transitional copies the streaking fades from what you can see in one of the pictures below to none at all. Which made it hard for us to decide how much black streaking there has to be in a record for it to be counted as a transitional copy. So this is why there is no exact number.
30 of those with the most heavy streaking were used for a Save My Soul Records edition in 2010 (sold out)

318 clear
A couple of those do have some light black streaks. Which we decided are to light to be counted so there is no info on how many of those there are. In the according picture below the streaking is more visible than it is in reality.

20 clear copies were used for a ltd. Westside Unity Festival edition in 2008 (sold out)

SBR 001 - V/A - HARDCORE BREAKOUT BRD LP

This is where it all began!
In 2006 Germany brimmed with great bands so I got the idea to acknowledge that by putting out a compilation. I knew I wasn't able to handle everything myself which is why I talked to my friend Jaybeez and sure enough he was in on the game. Late summer 2006 had us send out the first e-mails asking bands if they were in on the idea to contribute to that project. In the end we had 16 great hc/punk-bands (Cheap Thrills, Black Friday 29, Kingdom, AYS, Ritual, Empty Vision, Settle The Score, The Italian Stallion, Nothing To Hide, Sirens, Cobretti, Watch Out, Annotation, Teenage Angst, Dean Dirg, Bleed Into One) contribute 22 songs to make this monster of a record including a Reagan Youth style fold out poster cover.
Now you might already know how difficult and time-consuming it can be to do a record with just one band. Well time and even more time went by until this record finally saw the light of day. Actually so much time that the CHEAP THRILLS LP we worked out a deal for while being in touch with the bands for this compilation shot ahead for a release a couple of months prior to this.
